This page describes the procedure to release a new version of OAR. This procedure applies to OAR version > 2.5.2

Releasing is 3 folds:

1. create the tarball for the release
2. create the new Debian packages
3. create the new RPM packages

New Debian and/or RPM packages can also be created for an existing tarball release, to correct packaging bugs (hence, skipping step 1).
